Cenote Ponderosa

We went first thing in the morning. As part of a top 10 list I googled of best cenotes around the Rivera maya this was the first of the list on route from playa. At the end of the day and 7 cenotes later I can confirm. It was the best. Probably as mentioned in another review because we were basically alone the whole 1.5 hours we spent there from 9:00-10:30. The fish you can snorkel (only 25 pesos to rent a snorkel) and the fact that it’s open. Enter parque Edén and you’ll find the cenote. Ask for ponderosa and not even the neighbor knew where that one can be found 😉 if I come back I’ll spent at least till lunch there next time. Beautiful!

This Cenote is a must if you are around Tulum or Puerto Aventuras. Its stunning a very well preserved. Entry fee is $200mxn for adults and you can enter by car. There are also snorkeling gear rentals.
