Carey Dive Center

We went snorkeling with the whale sharks with Carey Dive Center and had a great time. There were only 5 people on the boat, the guide was excellent, and the captain was also great. They were professional, safe, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back the next time we are in La Paz.

Carey Dive Center is absolutely fantastic and hands down one of the most enjoyable dive experiences I’ve had. The service is excellent from start to finish and completely stress-free. Amazing dive sites, fantastic crew, safe and relaxed diving, and a genuinely fun atmosphere.We did two-tank dives in the morning, and afterward we always went to a beautiful beach to warm up, have lunch, and relax. It felt like a perfect balance of great diving and vacation vibes. The captains and dive masters are outstanding, professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced. Safety is a top priority, but everything is done in such a calm, easygoing way that you really get to enjoy the dives. The equipment was in great condition, and they handled everything so smoothly that all we had to do was show up and enjoy the ocean. We did the Magdalena bay snorkeling safari and snorkeling with whale sharks and it was a fantastic experience! One of my favorite parts: if we spotted whales on the way out, the captain would always slow down and stop so we could check them out. I would 100% recommend Carey Dive Center and would dive with them again in a heartbeat.
