Capsule Hotel in Malapascua

Nice place to stay, the capsule concept is cool, but the main dorm room is too cold (other guests agreed) and the bathrooms are too hot and soooo humid (you can feel it and see it by the rust present in a lot of places). Besides that, it felt quite clean, the common area is cool, but they also charge 20pesos for water refill… it’s the first time in the Philippines that I see a hostel charging for water, I find it a bit cheap..

This hotel is amazing. They are located right in the heart of everything, the staff are super friendly, there is very good internet connection and a very nice social chill area. The pods give you a bit more privacy. You have your own air conditioning and lights. The travellers visiting the hostel are lovely people too. The hotel staff also helped me out in an emergency for which I am very thankful. I can recommend 100%

I had the best experience staying at Capsule Hotel in Malapascua. I got stuck on the island because of the storm, and the staff truly went above and beyond for me. They helped with every little thing, checked in on me, and were genuinely some of the kindest, most caring people I’ve met while traveling. They even upgraded my room from a single to a double for free! The food at the hostel is really good, and after I checked out they still let me shower and use the lockers because I went diving. The rooms and beds are super clean, comfortable, and much nicer than most hostels I’ve stayed in. The location is also perfect! super close to almost all the dive shops, right near the beach, and only about a 5 minute walk from the port. Honestly, this was my favorite hostel experience so far. Amazing staff, clean and comfy rooms, and just an overall great place to stay. Totally recommend it! :)
