Bunaken Sea Garden Dive Resort

Great hostel, subpar hotel Basically, if this was a hostel (with hostel prices), it would be awesome: beautiful nature, great people & guests, filling food. Unfortunately, as a hotel, it is too expensive for what you get. No room cleaning (6 days!), for eg. Recommendation for the owners Option 1: invest in cleaning and service and make this an actual hotel. Option 2: lower prices and change from hotel to hostel. Either way, you’ll do fine, this is a superb location with great potential. But please make a choice :-) Hope to see this change next time we visit Bunaken.

Sonya, the owner of the place, was able to organize things amazingly. I got sick during my trip and was at the island's clinic. Sonya was concerned about my well-being and organized an evacuation to the hospital, for which I am very grateful.

We've spend 5 beautiful days in this Little paradise. And i have to say, that we really really enjoyed our stay there so much!! We fehlt like Home, the atmosphere ist very Special and welcoming. You can be Sure, that the First Dinner there you will get to know all the people and feel very welcomed and the traditional food is very good and the fruits super tasty. Also, they have sweet water to shower, which is Not Always the Case in Bunaken. Also, you will wake Up every morning at paradise overlooking the Little calm beach, where you can directly starting to swim to the best Spot of the Reef of all the Island. There is No need to get a boat, Just get in the water, swimm for two minutes and enjoy the amazing reffs of bunaken ❤️ We can Not wait to come Back there really! Thanks a Lot to everyone working there, you do an amazing Job!
