We had an excellent holiday at panorama dive ressort and we highly recommend, if you planning to have accomodation in jungle-style bungalows with amazing sea view. Diving / snorkeling is the reason, why you come to the island and you definetely have to do it. The boat crew was funny and prepared your personal equipment in advance. Your only job was to get on the boat by time, get into your wet suite and enjoy your dive. We want to say thank you to panorama dive crew. We also want to thank the rest of the staff, which have cleaned our rooms, prepared breakfast, lunch and diner (included in the price) and gave us a big smile the whole day. There is only one thing we have to complain, but we address this to all people from bunaken: The beach was not really clean (there was quite a lot of garbage around) and we didnt have the feeling that people really try to cope with this problem. We hope that responsible people will take care of it as soon as possible. Thank you guys: M&M

10/10 Diving and snorkel experience here. I planned a week, stayed for two, and everybody seemed cool with it. Very helpful staff. Guides and Dive Master are wonderful, locals are very nice and the reef is the most stunning I have seen. Also really hit the jackpot with closeup encounters with orca whales and a sperm whale, which only visit this site every decade or so.

- Beautiful wood-paneled bungalows with hammocks on a hillside overlooking the water for spectacular sunsets aren't the cheapest option but are the best value. Beds have mosquito netting - quite important - and big fans keep the sea breeze moving if you opt out of air-conditioning, which costs extra. - Food is excellent and plentiful at mealtimes, with local fish prepared authentically and fresh fruit and vegetables. Slow WiFi (common for the island) is available in the main dining room. - The staff is attentive and professional - one of the managers happened to be in Manado when we were arranging transport and offered to take us to the resort in the resort's speedboat at a better price than the public ferry. - Diving/snorkeling excursions are reasonably priced and go to some incredible sites - my favorite were the reefs on the east side of the island and a site called Turtle City, where converging currents bring a plethora of jellyfish-munching sea turtles to the area (though watch out for jellyfish stings and the strong currents when the tide changes!) The guides are very friendly and proficient at finding interesting underwater species to point out. Snorkel equipment can be rented on the beach. My only complaint is that the beach was awash with trash from the nearby city of Manado (though that's no fault of the resort - in fact, they doggedly collect the refuse for proper disposal, a never-ending task unfortunately).
