Buceo Anilao Beach & Dive Resort

The staff will absolutely work their butt off to make sure you have a good experience. I’ve never been catered like I have at Anilao. Also our dive guide was the absolute best. The rental gear was in excellent shape, the camera room was excellent, and the rooms were nice. The food overall was OK and it was a little repetitive after a while, but, the diving was great. We saw so many new critters, and the dive guides worked very hard to ensure we had good dives and saw what we wanted to see. At first I thought the diving was a little pricey here but after seeing how hard the staff worked for you, I feel like we got an excellent value. They carry all your equipment to the boat, all you do is show up in your wetsuit and whatever else you need. I gave a smaller rating on the location only because the resort is really tucked into a little hill, it’s kind of difficult to go for walks anywhere else or do off resort activities, that’s not the fault of the hotel, just the geographic location of these resorts, so plan accordingly. They will help organize boats and taxis to other locations however.

Great service and experience at Buceo. Organization (booking, transport, renting equipment, arranging dives) all super smooth and easy to do. Everyone at the resort is incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and it's great to also see their efforts at cleanup and recycling. Will definitely be back. The diving is of course great, lots of critters didn't disappoint.

Legendary setup. So friendly, making it easy to dive 4 times a day. Great food, great staff. Diving is superb if you ate into macro photography, and if not, you will be after a few days :)
