Bubbles is not flash in the traditional sense. It’s a special place where a focus is on the conservation of green turtles. What a privilege it is to witness this journey. Hopefully the value of this conservation program will be respected by key decision makers. As a guest, you don’t spend much time in your rooms. Why would you when you have a beautiful and peaceful beach to enjoy? Reef sharks (baby) and schools of fish are meters from the sand/ shoreline. The rooms are basic but the beds are super comfortable. The meals provided are really good incl breakfast, lunch, dinner plus fruit and cake for afternoon tea/ snack. This is a place to come to relax- something that I’m not particularly attuned to doing. We’ve also done some beginner scuba diving and a half day snorkelling trip. Such a diversity of marine life to see. Like many of the world’s coral reefs, bleaching and humans have adversely impacted them; really sad. People come here for the environmental conservation and to relax. Compliments to the owner and their team for the little sanctuary they are enabling us to enjoy.

Our 11-year-old boy said, “This is better than Club Med!” At the moment, Bubbles is the only resort within that bay. The water is very calm, and warm. We loved the free and easy vibe. Just borrow a life jacket and snorkel/ kayak/board from the beach-side store and do your thing! Bubbles also runs a turtle conservation program. If you get lucky, during the season, you can see turtles coming up to nest. We did! The food, as one reviewer said, is super healthy. We would add it’s also super tasty! And a nice variety throughout our 4-day stay. For instance, chicken rice was the highlight of one meal; assorted curries including a piquant spicy but not chilli-hot fish curry another meal (for those who can’t take chilli at all, they offered pasta marinara); next day after the curries, chicken chop and completely no chilli; etc etc ….. Breakfast includes eggs-to-order, pancakes, home-baked bread, home-made spreads, sausages, cereal …. for us, it was the full works. Our compliments to the menu planner and kitchen crew :-) Hospitality feels genuinely warm, compared to more commercial resorts where staff are indeed exceptionally courteous and cheerful, but you sometimes feel it’s because they are professionals doing a good job. Our thanks to Pearly and all the crew for a wonderful holiday. We look forward to coming back again!

First let me make it clear: if you're looking for a luxury experience, you're probably going to be disappointed. Here, facilities are basic. However, what I want to highlight is the service. The staff are extremely passionate and share a lot about the resort and marine life. This was a very educational experience for me. They raise awareness about current issues regarding global warming, coral bleaching and pollution, and have a turtle hatchery. They also contribute to conservation efforts, and the interns here are truly enthusiastic about what they do, and clearly try to provide the best experience for guests. This is an eco-friendly resort that contributes to sustainable tourism. Make sure to support, as they are contributing to a positive outcome for our planet. Let's work together and help save the environment. ❤️ This resort is also located in a private bay, and there is snorkeling right off the beach! 🏖️ It was a more secluded island holiday, without the tourist crowds of the main beach. ☺️
