For my first time visiting Cozumel and having difficulty making up my mind which dive shop to go with, I got really lucky going with Blue Project! I joined last minute, and their entire team (can’t forget Captains Zimri & Manuel) is amazingly skilled, friendly, open, and efficient! They really do it all and they do it so well at a great price. (The lower the rate the more days you dive with them) Whether you’re a skilled, regular diver or a newbie, the divemasters/instructors have something to offer. Since their shop and boat are a little smaller, they operate more efficiently than the larger companies, so you end up spending less time waiting around while getting more personal accommodations and tours to your preferences. I was blessed enough to be able to dive with both Blanca & Jorge, who are so friendly and skilled. They have meticulous eyes for pointing out the diverse marine life, that I would’ve otherwise not noticed on my own, while offering constructive advice up on the surface. Their safety protocols are top notch, and their pre-dive briefings are thorough. You’re also going to run out of air before them, that’s for sure. 😂 I also can’t forget Paco for being so responsive, accommodating, and informative with scheduling and updating me on future dives through WhatsApp. Beautiful people. From discovery dives for those new to diving, to drift, caves, shipwrecks, and night dives, they truly excel in everything and will work to your level.
