Amazing instructor for both freediving and sailing!

Coach Micah and Rhonda are truly wonderful and very knowledgeable sailing coaches! They are so nice, very patient, and only want you to feel more comfortable with sailing. The club is so much fun and very reasonably priced! I really enjoy the classes and being part of this awesome club!

This review is highly overdue— but is important for me to write because I truly believe that Coach Micah deserves it! Coach Micah is very knowledgeable and skilled in both sailing and free diving, among other things. Learning any new skill can be very overwhelming, especially in/on the water where there are safety concerns and your brain needs to multitask and be mindful of so many things all at the same time— such as sailing, with wind direction, weight disbursement/switching sides of boat, while also pulling various ropes which adjust the sails, switching hands while at the helm (on smaller boats), and sooo many other things— just to stay afloat and not capsize… while doing it all at the same time. Not to mention all the physical hazards like other people/boats in the water, rocks, etc… Coach Micah breaks things down into clear, easy to understand steps and takes things slow when needed. She also has lots of energy, is very engaging and friendly— and her teaching style is very positive and encouraging, never like you are dumb or just screwed up big time. She just reminds you what to do and how to do it and encourages you to try again. She is great and I would highly recommend her!!
