Great location licated on the beach, though just be aware the last 50+ metres is along the beach itself and there's plenty of steps inside the resort, so forget roll along luggage. The resort has the entrance and reception on one beach and the restaurant and beach bar on the other side / beach. Easy to swim at the rear of the property and there's a marine park with baby sharks. Our room had a spectacular ocean view (room 7) and was cleaned and serviced daily to a very high standard, the staff really worked hard cleaning the rooms and the grounds. There are several great restaurants next door, all Italian I believe. Everywhere is walkable and it's about 45 mins to the north beach or ₱50 on a bike and your there in 5 mins.

My experience at this beachside hotel restaurant in Malapascua was honestly very disappointing. I came to eat alone at their restaurant, which is supposedly open to the public. After ordering food, I asked if I could sit on one of the beach beds. I was told that I couldn’t unless I spent a **minimum of 500 pesos (about $9 USD)**. That’s a ridiculous amount for one person at a restaurant—especially in a place where the average daily wage is around that amount. My bill came to **460 pesos**, meaning I was **40 pesos short (about $0.70 USD)** of their minimum spend. Instead of being reasonable about it, they refused and made me order something else I didn’t even want just to reach their requirement. When my partner arrived later, the staff member spoke to us with a really unpleasant attitude and told us we were allowed to use **only one beach bed** and absolutely not the sofas or the padded beds. She repeated this twice in a very rude, condescending tone, as if we were trying to take advantage of them. The food itself was **expensive and the portions were small**, definitely not worth the price. And the worst part? **The bathroom was dirty**, and unbelievably there wasn’t even a **toilet seat**. If a place charges 500 pesos just for the privilege of sitting on a beach bed, the least they could do is keep their bathrooms clean and properly maintained. To be fair, the **view is beautiful and the music is pleasant**, which could have made the experience really nice—but unfortunately the service and overall attitude completely ruined it. Overall: overpriced, unwelcoming, and very poor service. There are many better and friendlier places in Malapascua that actually know how to treat their guests.

100% recommendation for malapascua. Incredible service from the start, they arrange the airport pick up and the ferry, carry your luggage (for a small fee) and bring it to your room and during the whole stay you feel very well taken care of. The whole team is very active the whole time, cleaning here and there, preparing and tidying up the private beach area and still always available if you need something. Also good breakfast and restaurant with variety of choices. Free drinking water for guests, free beach beds, beautifully arranged little houses with their own private walkway, staff is very nice and friendly and overall it’s just very relaxing, comfortable and clean!! Had some inconvenience with the engineers fixing something in our room but the staff was very understanding and made up for it. Good Air conditioning in every room as well. Literally nothing to complain. Good location because of the great amount of restaurants nearby, decent diving/snorkling area, and right at the beach. They also provide snorkling gear for free. Would definitely come back!
