I did not grow up with water, and it's been a long time since I wanted to learn diving and to discover the world underwater. As an inadept swimmer, I was a bit nervous before starting the class. But I was lucky to have Youssef as my instructor. From the very beginning, he sat down with me and explained what we were gonna do each day. He was very methodological, patient, and I felt he genuinely cared if I learnt or not. Under water, he paid attention to me the whole time, made sure that I was okay so it made me feel safe and I was quickly relaxed with him and could focus on the techniques that he taught me on land. And the learning experience was fun, I was excited to learn new skills and use them in the water, like a kid. The three day open diving course went by really fast. On the third day, thanks to Youssef's teaching, I managed my own buoyancy and we went down 18 meters deep and had a fun dive of 45 minutes. The quietness, the sealife and the big blue gave me a perfect conclusion of the year. Besides diving, people in Dahab were very warm and kind, and not only for the money. The food was amazing. So I can only recommend everyone who wishes to discover diving Beduoin Divers Dahab, and know you are in good hands! I know I will certainly go back for the advanced course!
