As an experienced diver, I'm sharing my honest feedback about Be Diving Cozumel. I found them through the SSI website as they are a Diamond Instructor Training Center, and I'm so glad I did! If you're looking for a small, local shop that prioritizes your experience, this is the place. From the very beginning, Jon and Felipe understood exactly what I was looking for. There was no pressure to book, and they patiently helped me find the best option for my needs. Jon, "the boss," although I didn't dive with him, was fantastic! He's a genuinely funny and attentive guy, and his professionalism was top-notch. He truly cares about his divers. Felipe, my divemaster, was phenomenal. He's easily one of the best I've ever had. His attentiveness, professionalism, and detailed explanations were outstanding. He provided valuable pointers and even sparked my thinking about my future in diving. He truly went above and beyond! You can tell he loves what he does. I did 5 amazing dives, and they were worth every penny. It's important to know that Cozumel dive sites are shared, so locations can vary. While this wasn't fully explained initially, if you have a specific site in mind, like the C-53 wreck (which I hoped to dive), let them know in advance. They'll do their best to accommodate! Also, Cozumel diving typically involves drop-offs and pickups, which is standard. If you're looking for a friendly, passionate, and highly professional dive operation in Cozumel, support this fantastic local shop! Be Diving Cozumel offers a truly personalized experience that larger operations simply can't match. I highly recommend them, especially if you're lucky enough to dive with Felipe.
