Absolutely unforgettable experience! I surprised my partner with scuba certification for Christmas — along with a “mystery trip” to Puerto Vallarta — and choosing Banderas Scuba Republic was one of the best decisions I could have made. From my very first WhatsApp message with Cesar, the entire process was seamless. He helped me get my partner enrolled in e-learning, coordinated confined water and open water dive reservations, and answered every question with patience and enthusiasm. Planning something like this from afar can feel daunting, but they made it effortless. Most importantly — my partner had an AMAZING time. He came out of the water grinning from ear to ear after every dive. That alone says everything. On his second day, they invited me to join them on the boat, which gave me the chance to meet Cesar in person (just as warm and delightful as he was over messages) and the rest of the crew. Eric, the instructor, was phenomenal — knowledgeable, calm, and incredibly familiar with the local marine life. You could tell he truly loves what he does. Angel was also wonderful and made the whole experience feel welcoming and fun. Honestly, they set the bar so high that I’m going to feel like I’m cheating on them if we dive with anyone else. We’re already looking forward to our next trip back to Puerto Vallarta so we can dive with Banderas Scuba Republic again. If you’re considering diving in PV — stop looking. You’ve found your shop.

Diving Los Arcos with Banderas Scuba Republic was phenomenal. The chance to dive Los Arcos should not be missed! Expect green water and 20-25’ visibility (sometimes less) but abundant sea life, turtles, spotted eagle rays and like a hundreds of puffer fish in varied species. There was also a lot small stuff to see! Eric was an excellent guide, kind, grounded and gracious. This is a top dive shop! Thanks, Cesar!
