Martin was an amazing dive instructor. Best experience I've had with an instructor, he was very helpful, friendly, and made the dive special. I normally don't write reviews but wanted to go out of my way to do so because of how good my dives with Martin were. Also, his restaurant has the best Pad Thai I had in all of Thailand... I think I went back to his restaurant 4 times for it. In hindsight, I wish I went back more. I'd plan a whole trip around that Pad Thai lol. Also, the Panang Curry is very good too.

Don't be mistaken by the small amount of reviews. Martin just started this dive shop, but has years of experience as an instructor. I felt very safe during my dives, Martin made sure to properly brief me before the dives, and gave me tips to become a better diver after every dive. Furthermore, he supplies a dive computer to all people in his divegroup for no additional fee, because he feels this should be a standard for safe diving. He knows the reef like the back of his hand, and made sure to point out all kinds of interesting marine life. If you're looking for a good diving school, make sure to give Martin's place a visit. After a conversation with him you'll get a good impression of his expertise. All in all I highly recommend Bambus diving school!

Unfortunately, I only booked one day with Martin… and by unfortunately, I mean I only booked one day. The experience with Bambus Diving was outstanding! Martin really took care of everything from beginning to end. It was actually the best experience I've had in the last 20 years. We had three dives together, all of which were very relaxed. Martin has a wealth of experience that he enjoys sharing with his clients. The transportation and the dive boat were excellent. The food on the boat was also delicious and plentiful. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely book with Martin, and this time for more than just one day. Dear Martin, best regards and keep up the good work. I was very happy to meet you.
