I did my DiveMaster (together with EFR and Rescue) with Bali Diving Academy (or Bali Pro Dive for the professional courses) in May and i must say it was an amazing experience and was unforgettable 5 weeks with the dive shop. My principal instructor was Sami (also a course director) and has great depth of knowledge to every possible questions you throw his way which definitly prepared myself better for DM with solid theoretical background and lot of interesting anecdotes! He is so chilled and great to be around with but when it comes to diving and classes, make no mistake he will grill and test your limits so if you are looking for some fun/chilled instructor but with rigourous and solid teaching, Sami will be your perfect choice. During my program, i also went our on diving trips with Kenny (instructor), Tama(instructor), Adee (DM) and Zee (DMT) and they were all amazingly friendly and fun to be around with! these trips is when you pick up some nice local cultures and words such as Padas Nasi Goren and Babi guling bagus! Special shout out to Zee who was on the same DMT class as me, but is also a pro underwater phtographer - check out the pick he took for me - if you looking for added bonus of getting some nice shots dont forget to ask for Zee for your FD trips :). Lastly a shout out for all the girls in the admin staff - they made my entire program much easier to manage (due to multiple locations of BDA - which is actually great if you want to experience more dive sites) and was so flexible with scheduling and sometimes last minute changes due to my personal agenda. also the big smile on their faces maybe the only thing you need after returing from a tired day of diving. :) :) :) Cant wait to go back to Bali and dive with Sami and all other great guys again.
