The island shore is rocky. There is also little space for swimming because of many parked boats. Drinks are also expensive but reasonable. You may roam on the other side of the island for more peaceful and quiet area.
Island hopping on this island is a waste of money, there are almost no fish, only one turtle, you have to wait half an hour for the obligatory guide, it's really not worth it - there is nothing here, only garbage and an empty cliff. Go to Moalboal on Cebu, there are fish and turtles right on the shore, no unnecessary boat trips...
I saw a lot of star fish, brown ones are near Alona beach and mostly blue and greens on the island. Also saw a group of Dolphins. The island is where you would see the turtles near the deep part of the corals. There are a lot of different colorful fishes as well. I did not have my go-pro so I was not able to take pictures of the turtles. You will see them underwater. The island provides drinks/shakes which is much affordable than the food. Water for shower is not available in the island so you will have to check some resorts on the shoreline for that. The main feature there is the snorkling and deep see diving. The island is not as breath taking unlike their other beaches.
