Bali Dive Resort Amed

I recently completed my Open Water refresher at Bali Dive Resort Amed after a long break from diving and felt completely supported and at ease from start to finish. The entire team was professional, kind, and passionate about diving. They carefully fitted and checked my gear, which made a huge difference in my comfort and confidence underwater. Dive sites were beautiful, and they made sure to point out marine life that you might otherwise miss. I enjoyed it so much that I actually extended my stay in Amed to dive with them again - it reminded me why I love diving. Thank you!

I haven’t stayed at the resort, but the rooms look amazing. I completed my Open Water certification there and the experience was perfect. From reservations to the driver, instructor, and finance team, everyone was extremely kind and helpful. I really enjoyed diving with the team. A big thank you to Damien, who was my dive instructor. I will definitely come back for more dives with them. Bonus: the resort is right next to the best bakery in Amed, perfect for morning coffee and sweet treats.

We didn't stay at the resort but once we arrived, we wished we had as it looked gorgeous. We came for the diving school. What an amazing experience. We walked into the Amed office and were met with friendly office staff who explained our options. After 10 mins Damien, a dive instructor came and joined us and as we had various diving abilities, he very quickly worked out how to get the best out of our day. My 10-year-old wanted to do discover scuba, so he and I stayed with Damien and my husband and teenage son who both dive, went with Ade, the dive master. I cannot praise Damien enough. My young son was given such great pool instruction before we headed to the ocean so that by the time we were on our first discover dive, my son was feeling confident and Damien could see what level of skill and understanding he had. We did a beautiful coral garden dive (so many Moorish Idols - my favourite fish) and my son loved it. A good surface rest with tea, coffee and fried banana) and then we all went to see the USAT Liberty (very cool WWII just off the shore). This was a brilliant introduction to my son's diving, and he is excited to do his PADI cert (JOW) back in Australia. My husband and other son loved their diving with Ade (great dive guide). All in all, it was a terrific day, with amazing crew and we felt relaxed and happy. Thank you, Damien, Ade and the staff, at Bali Dive Resort. We will be back and we will send folk your way from Cairns.
