In conclusion, I recommend it! Beginners welcome, Japanese spoken, and solo diving is OK. Polite, fun, and the ocean is beautiful. I'll definitely be back. The local food is also incredibly delicious, lol. Even though I applied via Instagram two weeks ago, alone and with no prior knowledge, they were extremely accommodating. Agus, the instructor, is a kind, always-smiling older man who spoke Japanese throughout, so there was nothing to worry about. Lombok is sparsely populated, and the ocean is simply beautiful. I was able to see schools of fish, clownfish, sea turtles, a sunken ship, and more. It was such a luxurious experience, even though it was my first time, that I'm starting to wonder if I'll enjoy my next dive. Thank you, Agus, and everyone who supported me. For a fun time. I'll be back!
