Azul Diving Madeira | PADI 5 star dive center in Funchal

Amazing experience with Rafa! The dive center is well organized with a welcoming team, everyone was kind and helpful from start to finish, and the equipment was in great condition. I did two boat dives, and the whole crew was fantastic: Jimmy, the captain, Roberto, who guided the other group, and especially my guide, Rafa, who was absolutely outstanding. He’s super chill, highly experienced, attentive, and incredibly friendly. His briefings were clear and easy to follow, and underwater his signals and guidance were spot on. We explored a wreck, spotted a big octopus, and saw countless fish in the marine reserve, including some huge groupers, and thanks to Rafa, we didn’t miss a thing. He led us smoothly through the dive sites, always pointing out the most interesting sights. What impressed me most was how he kept the whole group safe and relaxed while making the dives exciting and memorable. Diving with Rafa was an absolute pleasure, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone. I’m already looking forward to diving with him again!

I just finished my Advanced Open Water Course with them, and man, they are an absolutely fantastic team. Hernan is a great instructor, and I learned a great deal from him. If you have him as an instructor, you are in the best hands. I did the deep dive with Esme, and she is rocking it. She is the person to make you feel comfortable and love what you do. However, the wreck diving was incredible for me, and our guide, Rafa, was smooth in guiding us through the wreck and around it. Also, the night dive on the Azul House Reef was excellent. I recommend Azul Diving to anyone diving in Madeira. You will find a team ready to make your experience awesome!
