Aqua Action Dive Center

I had an outstanding experience diving with Aqua Action Dive Center in St. Thomas. From start to finish, the operation was professional, organized, and clearly safety-focused. This is exactly what you want when you’re getting on a dive boat. Our guides, Jack and Gary, were exceptional. Both were calm, confident, and clearly very experienced in local conditions. Their briefings were thorough without being overly long, and they did an excellent job tailoring the dives to the group’s skill level. Underwater, they were attentive and proactive. They had great situational awareness, excellent air monitoring, and strong group management. What stood out most was how relaxed yet dialed-in everything felt. The boat was well run, gear handling was smooth, entries and exits were efficient, and surface intervals were comfortable and well timed. You can tell this is a crew that dives these sites regularly and knows how to read conditions. They also did a great job pointing out marine life without rushing the dive. It felt like the perfect balance of guided exploration and freedom to enjoy the reef at your own pace. If you’re diving in St. Thomas and want a professional, safety-driven, well-organized operation with experienced guides, I would absolutely recommend Aqua Action. I would dive with Jack and Gary again without hesitation.

The staff were warm and friendly. They were very accommodating as we had 3 certified divers and 1 discovery student. We were able to shore dive while he did his class and then do a 2 tank dive with him all in the same day. Squid the dive …

If you are looking for heaven on Earth where everyone treats you like family, then look no further than Aqua Action Dive Center. From the moment we walked in, Denise and Elena welcomed us and accommodated all of our special requests with handling a large group. Squid was our dive instructor with Tristan as his assistant. Fernando is the nicest and patient sea captain. They introduced our kids to the world of diving and took such excellent care of them. They were able assist 5 kids ranging from ages of 10 to 16 gain their confidence in the foundation of diving. For the ones who didn’t dive, Jeff is the Island Man that will make sure all of your requests are answered. From the perfect spot in the shade to the best spots in the islands. He makes you feel safe while you get to fully enjoy your vacation. If your schedule is time sensitive, (like a cruise), they will make sure you are covered and get back on time.
