Anti Gravity Divers

We took 26 students from Hull University to Perhentian and worked with these guys. Interested, efficient, friendly and full of good advice. The best dive centre on Perhentian.

Came to Perhentian for four days but stayed for two weeks and the biggest reason was Anti Gravity Divers!! I contacted Sue prior to arriving and from the first reply email, I knew I’d found the dive shop for me. They take safety and correct procedure really seriously, no corners cut. From the preparation of the quality gear, the in depth dive briefings, attentiveness under water to you and spotting the creatures I’d miss for sure. The entire team from the owners/manager right through to instructors, dive masters, interns and boat crew are friendly, helpful and genuine, there are no egos to jump over. If that isn’t enough the price of diving is a steal, cheaper than I was paying in Bali 10 years ago!!! My partner did his ticket 30 years ago but never liked it and I have been trying to get him to have another go, finally it has happened, the refresher course was as good as doing the OW course again and with that confidence and a handful of perfect dives, I’m happy to report he is back into diving. I’m giving the credit to the team at AGD…..thanks. Do yourself a favour and give them a go, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back no doubt 🥳😜

I had one of the best times of my life here. A really serious and passionated diving school. If you want to learn more about diving you will get probably the best education on the entire island. Even before starting anything the manager took about more than one hour to talk about different options what to do and what fits to me. Finally I ended up for 2 month in the diving school. They got a small dorm room with 8 beds where it is possible to stay for free while doing a course. The room is clean and the beds got mosquito nets. Nothing spectacular but totally enough for a nice stay. It is more about the amazing people and the family atmosphere. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. I did my rescue diver, Deep and Nitrox Specialty and the Sidemount Course. On top of that I did about 50 fun dives and I don't regret anything. Every penny was worth the money. I learned so much more about diving because of the amazing Instructors and DMT's. I haven't met such passionated and experienced people in the diving world before. Thank you so much for having me guys i love all of you. Thanks to Sue, Anand, Sam, Kieran, Azman, Misa, Diana, Alex, Becca, Jon, Chiara, Pancho, Lucia, Pato, Ponti, Paola, Maitane and Aldraine. I hope I didn't forget anyone. I met so many people during my stay. All the best Nils
