Anse Turin

Beautiful beach located a short distance from the town of Sant Pierre. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Pelee and the town of Sant Pierre, but be careful this beach, like most of those in Martinique, is not supervised, there is no lifeguard, it should be added however that it is quiet, equipped with wooden tables, where you can have a picnic by the sea, there is also a small food truck, where a nice French lady cooks delicious sandwiches, hamburgers and seafood, the food is delicious and the prices are excellent. In this area there is no seaweed, there is a group of bathrooms but when I went the drain did not work so they were unusable. Easy parking nearby and not a lot of shade, compared to other beaches.

The beach is located after the tunnel towards Le Carbet when leaving Saint-Pierre (not the location shown on Google Maps). Parking is available on the roadside. It's a beautiful black sand beach. There's not much snorkeling. The water is calm for swimming.
