Amigos Dive Center

What can I say, this dive centre is absolutely fantastic. I had a great experience doing my Open Water course with Amigos. I had Gong as my instructor and he was excellent — really professional, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process fun and relaxed. The shop itself was great too. All the equipment was in really good condition and the boat was well set up, which made the dive days smooth and enjoyable. I also chatted with a few of the other instructors — Martin, Yaya, Pablo, and Felix — and they were all super friendly and welcoming. It honestly felt like no matter which instructor you get, you’re going to have a great time and learn from people who really enjoy what they do. It was also a really good price for the quality of the course and the experience you get. Overall just a fantastic experience. I would have loved to stay longer and do my Advanced Open Water with them if I had the time. Thanks again to the whole team for making it such a fun and memorable experience. 10/10, would definitely recommend! 🤿🌊

I had an excellent experience taking my PADI Open Water diving course at Amigos Dive Center. The whole program was well organized, professional, and very supportive for beginners. From the theory sessions to the open water dives, everything was structured in a way that helped me build confidence and skills step by step. My dive instructor, Alex, was truly cool. You can clearly feel his passion for diving in the way he teaches and guides students. He is patient, attentive, and very thorough with every skill. Even when we were diving during typhoon weather, he remained calm and highly professional, always making sure we stayed safe and comfortable underwater. Even on days when the visibility wasn’t perfect, the dives were still beautiful and memorable. We were lucky to witness stunning underwater scenery and marine life, and Alex made sure we could still enjoy the experience while staying within safe limits. Another big plus is that Amigos Dive Center includes insurance coverage for the course, which many dive shops don’t offer. That added an extra layer of reassurance. I highly recommend Amigos Dive Center to anyone planning to take a PADI Open Water course. You’ll get quality instruction, strong safety standards, and a team that genuinely loves what they do.

I did my open water and advanced open water with Amigos and had the best experience. I did both courses with Alex as instructor. He was very patient and took his time explaining everything and making sure I was comfortable in the water. All the dives were relaxed and fun! I would highly recommend Alex as an instructor and also Amigos for diving. I will definitely go back!
