Aloha Maui Diving was recommended for my SSI open water certification checkout dives. It was perfect. Instructor Sarah was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and straightforward. She addressed my questions, as well as my nervousness by sharing …

Aloha Maui diving and Debra helped make our vacation successful. Debra fitted our girls with wetsuits, mask and snorkels, booties and fins. She is very knowledgeable and got us out so we could go diving. We did many two-tank shore dives at Honolua Bay and Mala Wharf. The tanks were always filled over 3000 and they were always ready to go. Sometimes we would finish our dive and go to Aloha Maui diving to get new tanks for the next day. Look at my pictures. Equipment is clean, serviced and ready to go for diving. I highly recommend Aloha Maui Diving for your next vacation.

You should feel very comfortable booking Aloha Maui Diving (AMD) for your next Maui dive trip -- they are an excellent outfit. I am a fairly new diver with about 40 dives under my weight belt. But twenty of those dives were about 30 years ago, so I'm still reacquainting myself with the sport. I was originally looking for a dive shop that had been in operation a long time, but the Lahaina fire closed many of the older dive shops in West Maui (where I was staying). I eventually found Aloha Maui Diving online and contacted them via email. They were fairly new, but Sarah Sisco from AMD responded quickly and patiently to my many, many nitpicking questions and made things very easy. I decided to book a 2-tank night shore dive around Black Rock at Ka'anapali Beach. I had never done a shore dive before. But I had nothing to worry about. Sarah was great -- prepared, professional and friendly. She didn't even make me feel stupid when I forgot to bring my regulators -- she had a quality spare reg set ready to go (I know, ugh...having my own equipment is still a new thing). We did a dive at dusk and then another dive after it had gotten completely dark and both dives were fantastic. Sarah was patient and exactly what you want in a divemaster. She spotted things I never would have and she was in no rush -- we had two, nice long dives (the attached photos are from these dives). The other diver with us had over 1,000 dives and she had equally high praise for Sarah. I highly recommend Aloha Maui Diving and hope you enjoy your dives with them as much as I did.
