Awesome time with Alex for two days and a day with Arturo! Both of these Dive guides were very thoughtful as I am a newer diver. Just spent 2 months living and diving in Cozumel Mexico. I contacted Alex via email and what's app he was very responsive and answered my questions prior to my arrival. (Very professional). While diving with him and his team I met a lot of multi year people that continue to dive with him and his team. To me that speaks volumes. Personally I really enjoyed diving with Altero, Siri, Martin and "Cappi" sorry never got his name😊. They were fantastic. Extended dives for experienced divers and provided excellent care and attention to new and divers that needed extra help. They did a great job. The boat just had a new engine and had lots of room to move around and get out of poor weather and enjoy the nice weather. We got to dive multiple dive sites and felt very safe diving with them.

I was referred to AlexScuba by my local shop in Houston, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Coordination was incredibly easy—most of our communication was done via WhatsApp, which made getting quick answers and setting/adjusting our schedule a breeze. Family-Friendly & Convenient: For the first two days, I dove with my kids. Alex selected sites perfectly suited for younger, less experienced divers, ensuring they felt safe and excited. The boat was clean, comfortable, and the ultimate convenience was being picked up directly from our hotel pier. Going the Extra Mile: I always ask about night dives, which can be hard to schedule. Alex didn’t just say 'no'; he worked with another shop to arrange a combined dive so I wouldn't miss out. When bad weather was forecasted for my third day, Alex was proactive. He reached out early to reschedule and even adjusted our start time the following day to account for potential harbor delays. Expert Guiding & Easy Payment: I dove primarily with Arturo, who was a phenomenal divemaster. He has a deep knowledge of the reefs and an incredible eye for spotting interesting marine life and unique formations. At the end of the trip, payment was simple and convenient—they accept cash or credit cards using a mobile wireless machine right on the boat. If you’re heading to Cozumel, I can’t recommend AlexScuba enough. We will definitely be diving with them again on our next trip!
