AIDA Freediving Malta - Apnea & Spearfishing School

I can't recommend this AIDA freediving course enough! Denis was amazing at tailoring everything to suit my needs, which made a huge difference in my learning experience. I felt super comfortable and safe, but also pushed just the right amount to grow and really enjoy the process. It was clear that he’s passionate about what he does, and that made the whole experience even better. And the blue waters of Malta are so beautiful. Also, I did an additional adventure trip after the course. I can really recommend doing the same as I got to freedive for a total of four days and honestly it’s the best experience I’ve ever had. We explored some incredible spots, and the whole trip was just unforgettable. Definitely worth every penny and I’m so grateful for choosing Spearfisherz for my AIDA 2 certificate.

Denis took us out for guided spearfishing on some good spots, knew the underwater landscape like the back of his hand and gave us good advice on efficient approach to the dive sites and fish, resulting in some good catches (we did have prior experience - it's not easy in the Mediterranean sea ;-). Denis took the time to explain dive sites, provided safety on the surface and even helped secure the catch. On a few dives, he showed us technique how to dive efficiently, and our own diving improved as a result.
